This review is written by Joheb Hasan Promit, who has ridden a wide variety of motorcycles over the years, including daily commuters, sports bikes, cruisers, and scooters. He has hands-on experience with models from leading brands such as Yamaha, Suzuki, Bajaj, and Honda, giving him a strong understanding of real-world performance and ownership.
“After riding the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 multiple times on Dhaka roads and highways, I can see why it attracts riders looking for a premium retro bike that feels lighter and more city-friendly than the Classic 350. In real-world conditions, it is much easier to handle in traffic than heavier Royal Enfield models. From my experience, it occupies an interesting position in the market, competing indirectly with bikes like the Yamaha FZ-X, Suzuki Gixxer, and some café-style imports.
What I like most is its compact size and modern-retro look, which always draws attention in traffic. Mechanics I’ve spoken with who work on the J-platform engine have also confirmed what I felt while riding. The engine is very smooth at low and midrange speeds, and overall maintenance is straightforward. However, parts availability can sometimes depend on import timing.”
