মার্কেটে থাকা ইয়ামাহা আর সিরিজের বাইকগুলোর একমাত্র বাইক যার ইঞ্জিন সর্বোচ্চ পাওয়ার দিতে সক্ষম। কম ফুয়েলে বেশি মাইলেজ দেয় বলে এই বাইক কম বেশি সব রাইডারেরি নজর কেড়েছে। এছাড়া লুকস এর দিক থেকেও বাইকটি পিছিয়ে নেই। বাজারে হলুদ, নীল ও লাল তিনটি কালারের বাইক থাকলেও Yamaha R15 v3 Black Indonesia এবং R15 v3 Indonesia Blue এই দুই কালারের বাইক সবচেয়ে বেশি জনপ্রিয়তা লাভ করেছে।2018 Indonesian সংস্করণগুলিতে সোনালি রঙের USD রয়েছে যা পুরোনো সংস্করণগুলিতে ছিল না। মূলত Yamaha R15 V3 তার পাওয়ারের জন্যই রাইডারদের কাছে অধিক গ্রহণযোগ্যতা লাভ করেছে বলে আমাদের ধারণা।
