Bajaj Pulsar Review

(1) Speciality

Bajaj Pulsar arrived in the Bangladeshi market in 2001. For these two decades, among 150cc limited bikes, according to Pulsar user reviews, the Pulsar 150 has maintained a standard. From 2001 until now, several changes have been made over time, and new technologies have been incorporated.

According to Pulsar 150 reviews, the latest changes include some modifications in design and graphics. Additionally, there have been changes in the split seating position, front gear lever, double disc wheels, enlarged rear wheel, and a chain cover has been added. Overall, the outlook has become more modern. Stylish decals have been used on its body and fuel tank, giving the bike an even sportier, gorgeous, and attractive look.

According to reviews, the new version's mileage has also slightly increased, with 40-45 km/L in the city and 45-50 km/L on the highway. The slightly larger seat allows both rider and pillion to sit comfortably. Despite its sporty look and being a speedy bike, its elongated seating position has also made it immensely popular as a commuter bike.

According to Bajaj Pulsar reviews, some changes have been made to the suspension and wheels for safer riding on the road. To ensure good braking, a rear disc has been used with the drum brake on the rear wheel. And the wheels have been made slightly thicker. Backlit switchgear has been added to the handlebar for safer riding in the dark. Telescopic suspension is used at the front of the bike, and twin-shock suspension at the rear.

According to Pulsar user reviews, some attractive features of Bajaj Pulsar 150:

  • Modern design, stylish decals
  • Sporty split seating position
  • Silencer has been updated
  • LED taillight newly added
  • Digital speedometer
  • Telescopic and twin-shock suspension
  • Clip-on style handlebar.

(2) Engine & Transmission –

According to reviewers, the powerful engine of the Pulsar 150 bike is its biggest strength. You can move freely on any road, in any weather, with the help of this bike's engine. This bike features a 149.5 cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, DTSi engine. It can produce 14 PS of power and 13.4 Nm of torque. For engine power transmission, there is a 5-speed gearbox along with a digital speedometer. An exhaust engine is present for better output from the engine. To make bike riding comfortable, telescopic front suspension is provided at the front and Nitrox suspension at the rear. You can start the bike with both electric and kick options. The braking system is also quite good; its front wheel has a disc brake and the rear wheel has a drum brake.

(3) Body Dimension –

According to Bajaj Pulsar reviews, the latest version of Pulsar 150 is not just gorgeous to look at, but its performance is also superb. According to Pulsar 150 reviews, within the 150 segment, this bike's riding performance, body dimensions, seating position are all perfect. Along with mileage, braking, and smooth speed, it's a perfect combination overall. The bike's overall length is 2055 mm, width and height are 755 mm and 1060 mm respectively. Its net weight is 144 kg. Fuel capacity is 15 liters. Its wheelbase is 1320 mm with a ground clearance of 165 mm. Overall, the bike will provide you with a smooth and comfortable riding experience.

According to Pulsar user reviews, the bike's suspension is outstanding. This suspension makes the bike's performance top-notch. The bike features a telescopic suspension system at the front and a twin-shock suspension at the rear with a 5-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorber. Therefore, it can be ridden easily on uneven and winding roads. With sufficient ground clearance space, the bike can be ridden safely.

(5) Braking System and Wheels

According to Pulsar 150 reviews, the wheels of the Bajaj 150 bike are made with good quality double discs. The front wheel is disc, and the rear wheel is drum-based. A rear disc has been added to the drum brake for better response from the rear wheel. The front brake is a 40mm disc with 80/100-17 tires. (6) Meter Console

According to bike reviewers, a good quality meter console is very important for bikers. The Bajaj 150 bike uses a semi-digital meter console. In the latest version, some minor upgrades have been made to the meter console cluster. However, the RPM sector remains an analog meter, but bikers can keep a good eye on it through the large circular panel. Some Pulsar User Reviews are Provided Below

Siam Sakhaowat Shamya said, "My Pulsar 150cc bike has disc brakes on both wheels. I have ridden it regularly for 6 months so far and had it serviced once. I mostly rode the bike on urban roads and got a mileage of 35-40 km per liter. I used octane fuel. I liked everything about the bike, but the headlight's illumination isn't very strong. I haven't made any modifications yet. I might install fog lights later. I usually wash the bike once a week. I use mineral engine oil. I haven't changed any parts yet. In these 6 months, I haven't encountered any issues with the bike's control and have received good mileage. I am satisfied with the bike's performance."

Md. Shahadat said, "I fell in love with this bike because of its gorgeous looks. Its speed, mileage, and performance all seemed excellent to me. I have ridden it for up to 2500 km so far, and I've gotten over 50 kmpl mileage, although many say it's not possible to get over 45 kmpl. I regularly cleaned the bike and used engine oil. I am using Super 4T 20W-50 as engine oil. I got very good performance on the highway. On city roads, you will get good mileage in 3rd gear, and on highways, you will get good mileage in 5th gear. No major servicing or parts replacement was needed. I am satisfied with using this bike so far."

Masud Akhtar said, "I got 48 km per liter mileage on the new bike. Many people are concerned about this bike's mileage; my experience is that I got 45+ mileage at economy speed. Its seating position is comfortable. The handlebar, brakes, and gear shifting work smoothly. Those who ride for long durations will be able to ride very comfortably. The speed and acceleration are excellent. The wheel size is quite good, and the body graphics are very beautiful, which I found to give a gorgeous look. Since there is no chain cover, I regularly clean the chain sprocket because a lot of dirt gets stuck in an open chain. Overall, the bike is one of my favorites."
