RANCON Car Hub has started a new chapter in Bangladesh’s automobile market by becoming an authorized dealer for Mitsubishi Motors. This change comes from a new partnership with RANGS Limited, which has been the brand's distributor in Bangladesh for a long time. RANCON, previously known for reconditioned and pre-owned cars, can now offer brand-new Mitsubishi vehicles directly to customers. Their showroom will feature both locally assembled and imported models, including the locally built Mitsubishi Xpander, as well as global models like the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, and Mitsubishi L200 pickup.

RANGS Limited’s CEO Mohammad Hamdur Rahman Simon commented on the new deal, saying, “We are proud to welcome RANCON Car Hub as an authorized dealer of Mitsubishi Motors Bangladesh. The ‘Made-in-Bangladesh’ Xpander reflects our commitment to local manufacturing and the improvement of automotive technology in Bangladesh.”

Meanwhile, RANCON Car Hub’s CEO Hussain Mashnoor Chowdhury stated, “This collaboration allows us to offer authentic Mitsubishi experiences by combining global innovation with local craftsmanship.”

This change is significant for several reasons. It shows increasing confidence in local assembly and established brand networks. For buyers, it means easier access to cars backed by official dealerships, clearer pricing, and a better chance of reliable after-sales service. This is especially important for car buyers in cities like Dhaka, where access to service and spare parts can be an issue.

At the same time, RANCON must now improve its operations. Moving from selling used cars to new models requires better after-sales support, a consistent supply of spare parts, and reliable service quality. Additionally, since some models will be imported, pricing may be affected by changes in import duties or taxes.

Overall, this development is a positive sign for Bangladesh’s auto industry. It brings us closer to a more organized and mature market. For potential car buyers, especially families or those looking for a brand-new vehicle, it increases options with the support of an official, nationwide network.
