Batali Hill:

Batali Hill is located near the Chittagong University campus. This hill is also known as Jilapi Pahar. It is the highest hill in Chittagong city. It can be a good experience for bikers. Batali Hill is located in the Tiger Pass area, just 1 kilometer from the Zero Point of Chittagong city. The road to Batali Hill goes up past Fahim Music, north of Ispahani intersection in the Lalkhan Bazar area of Chittagong city. This road runs behind the Magistrate Colony. This hill is 280 feet high. From its peak, a large part of the Bay of Bengal and Chittagong city can be seen. The peak of the hill is called Shatayu Angan. Anti-aircraft guns were installed on the peak of Batali Hill during World War II. It is also known that many years ago, there was a lighthouse on Batali Hill to guide ships navigating in the distant sea. To reach Batali Hill, riders can take the Chittagong-Kaptai Road, which is about a 20-minute drive from the city center.

Chandranath Hill:

Chandranath Hill is a sacred place for Hindus and an attractive spot for bike riders. It is located in Sitakunda, about 37 kilometers from Chittagong. Riders can follow the Chittagong-Sitakunda Road to reach the path leading to the hill's peak. Going to the peak by bike is dangerous. A hill located 4 km east of Sitakunda Bazaar in Chittagong is one of the most popular trekking routes for visitors. Chandranath Hill has an approximate height of 1020 feet. There are two paths to climb Chandranath Hill. The path on the right side is almost entirely stairs, while the path on the left side is entirely a hilly trail with some broken stairs. It is easier to ascend by the left path and descend by the right staircase path, but you can use the path according to your preference. After approximately 1 to 1.5 hours of trekking, you will find the Birupaksha Temple. Every year, a special puja is held at this temple on the occasion of Shivaratri and Shivartudashi tithi. A huge fair is organized in Sitakunda around this puja. Hindu devotees living in the area organize a large fair every year in the Bengali month of Falgun. It is known as the Shivartudashi Mela. Numerous saints and men and women from various countries including Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Thailand participate in this fair. Chandranath Temple, which is located at the peak of Chandranath Hill, is 150 feet away from Birupaksha Temple. Checking the bike's tires, brakes, headlamp, navigation, gears, chain, fuel, etc., is very necessary. It is essential to use a helmet while riding. Also, it's wise to know in advance where to refuel if you run out during the journey. Be careful with mapping. Unnecessary overtaking is not allowed.
